The first wallhanging is called, "Halloween Haunt" by Barb Sawyer. It is 20" x 23" in size. I enjoyed piecing the background and did some of the applique a few years ago. I got hung up on appliqueing the ghost and finding a skeleton to lay in the doorway like the pattern. This year, I fused the ghost and decided my skeleton would dance through the doorway. Problem solved.

The second wallhanging is "Spooky" by Judydidit Designs. It is part of her Small Celebrations line. It is 21" x 24" in size. I pieced and fused it in two settings this year. No applique, Yeah!!!

Neither is quilted, but I plan to complete both by next Halloween. They are too cute to stay in the closet.

Yes, too cute to hide for another year. Even if they are minimally quilted or not at all til later. :)

Thanks, unfortunately, a full-time job and a family reunion this weekend are taking my time. The dancing skeleton makes me smile every time I pass it, so, I may have to hang them as is this year.

Does anyone see "The Quilt Police" anywhere? 8-)

They are really cute and I have some of that white ghost fabric and I like how it shows up on the dark backgrounds - thanks for giving me an idea.
