Default Hand applique done after 28 months!

I fell in love with this quilt as soon as I saw a picture of it. Some of you helped me out by telling me the pattern is "Farm Fresh" by Buggy Barn. This is the first quilt made specifically for my husband and definitely the most difficult. He loves to garden. It is all hand appliqued. For the center I used Barbara J. Eikmeier's back-basting applique method. I used the freezer paper and starch method for the borders. Since it took over 2 years to applique ( I will admit that there were days I didn't work on it), I decided that I had to hand quilt it. I used a bigger stitch and basically did outline quilting. My husband wanted to hang it in the living room so everyone can enjoy it. Hope you enjoy! Sorry the picture is a sideways. Nothing I do will make it come out right side up.

I can tell a lot of work and love went into this quilt. You should be very proud of it and, apparently, your husband is thrilled with it. Beautiful job.

OMG!, that is gorgeous. I certainly would hang it where it could be seen.
