    It is needle turned, although I find a wet wooden toothpick works better. I also tried her starch method using heat proof template plastic and a tiny iron for some of the pieces. Very time consuming and labor intensive, but so easy to stitch down. I just had to determine which ones were worth the time to use that method.

    Ohhh mei, this is just sooo beautiful and sweet. I love looking at appliqué quilts but for myself probably will never have the courage and patience to make one
