My friend JoEllen embroidered the blocks on this quilt, all done by hand.
I'm having fun quilting it for her, this is her second Halloween quilt using a different pattern. She is our Embroidery Queen.

This is another hand embroidery work that we are doing... some of it is color crayoned work that is set with an iron and then embroidery work is added, I just couldn't resist this pattern... Setting all UFO's aside... whoops!

The lighting in the shop made the picture green, it's an off white back ground.. So neat!

Ooh Crissie

Both are beautiful - the second one with the snowman on you said has been coloured in with crayons & set with an iron. Are these a specific fabric crayon or the standard type that children use. I love the effect it gives & the quilting is lovely too.

The embroidery work is great! I've got a Sunbonnet Sue redwork about a third done. Time to gat back at it. I love the colored embroidery also. I've seen some of that in a quilt show we had here last year. It certainly adds another dimension. Great quilts!
