I have done a few quilts where I tie and hand quilt them. They look lovely and don't take quite so much time to complete. You have a beautiful quilt.

A lady who taught quilting at a college told me its a quilt if its stitched (like hand or maching quilting), its considered a comforter if its tied.

I'm thinking "Diamonds for Sarah" or "SarahRachael's Diamonds" or something in that vein as a possible name for the quilt/comforter, partly because of its diamond shapes but especially because of its value to you as a cherished item you've worked diligently to pay for, both in buying the materials and making them into something useful, beautiful and uniquely yours.

If I were making the quilt, I would either hand quilt, or use a fat bat. If you want 'comforter' poof, think of tying or big stitch with the fat bat. IMHO
