Last week my sister-in-law said I needed to come over because my aunt left something for me at their house. She wouldn't tell me what though. I went over today and my surprise gift is a Singer treadle machine in cabinet. Everything sees to move freely but need to get belt because it's broke. It came with a few attatchment including the ruffler that's on it right now, and the cabinet needs refinished but doesn't smell musty. Decals show alittle wear near needle where fabric rubbed during sewing but that's it. I need to look it up the number I found on it is G0464729.

With a ruffler! And those decals are fab. Is it from your family? Or is she so sweet and found one for you?

A few weeks ago I had asked if my uncle still had
grandma's treadle machine and my aunt said one of my cousins has had it for years. I said that was good because I just wanted it to stay in family. I must have sounded like I really wanted one of my own because she dropped this one off. As far as I know it isn't from family. She told my brother that she found it and was looking for belt and told my sister-in-law that she would be happy if just sewed one seam with it.
