I love it. And your handquilting is wonderful. With those orangy sun-shiney colors combined with your wonderful wave quilting in the border it makes me think of a day at the beach!

I like it. Your daughter will be happy to get this surprise. But I know what you mean a out working with a different color palette. I have the same problem.

I love it! I love bright yellows and the orange fabrics are the perfect complement. Makes me feel happy. Your daughter will appreciate the "sunshine" that comes in the mail.

I don't call that a shock at all. If you are not fond of it, your daughter is sure to love it. I think, if it were me, I would call it "You are My Sunshine".

You just gave me the answer ... since my granddaughter was born I always since the song "You are my Sunshine" to her. The quilt will be on it's way to Willow this coming week. Thank you so much for the insight!

It's beautiful. I don't think it's bright or shocking at all. It's a perfect summer quilt. Makes me think of sherbet!
