Default Hanging Quilts

I have hung some of my favorite quilts on the bedroom wall. The plastic boxes are my small pieces of stash. I have a few bigger pieces in the hanging in the closet but I don't have much stash. One of the pictures will show my little plastic frame I quilt on. I am working on a place mat.

Lovely work. Do you quilt the ones on the wall on that little frame? Maybe there is hope for me yet. Just don't have room for a long-arm.

What a nice way to display your lovely quilts. I love the one with butterflies.

Are you hand-quilting in the small frame or do you use it on the machine? I hand-quilt in one of those...wonder how it would work on machine? Know you'd have to move it often and I think the thickness of the frame would be a problem.

I do not sew on the machine any more than I have to and most of the time that is to sew the binding on. Once in a blue moon I will sew some big pieces like for backing on the sewing machine. That little frame you saw is what I use. It is so easy and fun and cheap! Any one can do it. My quilt stitches are not always the same size and sometimes they turn and it is okay. I don't make big quilts much any more but I have and it can be a bit cumbersome but once you get out of the center it is better. I can sit in my easy chair and watch tv and relax and sew. It is fun!
