I did use a pattern, sort of. It is called Meme's Wiener Dog Wonderland by Meme's Quilts, 3924 Blue Monster Cove, Round Rock, TX. 78664. Her quilt used a lot of homespun fabrics in brown red and gold green and rust. Very rustic and cute. I made it that way once before for my grown daughter who had 3 wiener dogs. I changed the fabrics substantially this time since the intended recipient is a 6 year old. I also changed the quilting too. This one is quilted with an all over pattern of dog bones. I hope this helps.
