This is for my daughters 30th Birthday. Her birthday was in May but she is not coming to visit until the end of this month so I had a little extra time to make it and thank goodness as the project has just grown!! (must be all the rain we have had! lol) Now I just have to summon up the courage to quilt it! I plan to echo all the flowers and to do cross hatching in the butterfly borders. Still not sure what I am going to do in the plain cornerstones (they are there because I cut the butterfly borders too short! )
thank you for looking

Thank you all ! There are 30 daisies and 30 butterflies. One of the quilt board members sent me a jpeg pattern and I sort of went from there but had to resize and redraw petals and leaves to suit my size of block. I made several changes from other happy daisy quilts I have seen on the board and in my LQS. The stems I made by making the fabric into bias binding so they have a little more definition. I also wanted grass in my daisy garden so bordered all of the blocks . The butterflies are embroidered appliques
