WHat a beauty you have there. Your choice of colors are very stricking. I have made a lot of wall hangings, BUT, never thought of this idea.

Tricia, I am really impressed with your work and color sense. Been trying to apply your advice for applique from when we chatted a few weeks ago, and I think I am inproving. Thanks.

Thanks for all the compliments. I've been told that I have a great sense for putting colors together. Must have been all those art classes!!!

Norah, I'm glad that your applique is going well. I have to tell you that this particular project was done by using fusible and then I machine stitched around each piece. It was done on a black background with the pieces fused on top, which made it look like I did a stained glass piece. The one hard thing was that I had to put it on my design wall and fuse it hanging up. It was too big to get the pieces straight laying down on my ironing pad.

I didn't put a sleeve on it to hang, but it could be done. Its for sale, so if my customer that buys it wants a sleeve, I will put it on for them. I actually almost sold it last weekend to a truck driver from Minnesota who stopped in our mall!!!

Well, I hope you all enjoyed!!! Thank you again, Tricia

Hi Tricia,
Great idea with the sliver of black showing, really makes it pop but not too much. Lovely. Colors great too. Color really makes it don't you think, would be so different in pastels. Betty 8)
