What a beautiful wall hanging!! All my favorite things - the colors, flowers, sweeps and curves, beads, and a smiling, happy lady.... Did you design this? Tell hubby, good job - I like wall hangings, and will give his idea a try on my next project.

It was based on a design by Bea Oglesby, called Art Nouveau Quilts...but I played around, making the clematis flowers 3D etc
It was my first wall hanging!! Here's a link to the work in progress

What I can say is that more than two years later since I made this for my Mum, it still hangs perfectly square, non of the dreaded waving which happens when wall hangings are suspended from the top only ;)

Anyway, asked my DH if he cut cut me a length of dowelling, and look what he came up with...AND it works perfectly keeping all sides nice and straight!!
