I am glad everything turned out okay.
I don't don't really have candles in my studio, this is the first time and I did order that candle warmer from Amazon. It a lamp that sits over the candle and just warms it and you never have to light it.

Glad you are safe. I wonder - did your smoke detector go off?

It was so fast and so little it didn't....

Jodi, I bought that fabric in Joann's a couple years ago. I don't know if you can still get it as it was a seasonal deal. The selvage says...V. I. P. by Cranston print works 2004/. It doesn't have a number like the LQS fabic does.

Oh my - it's funny since everyone is ok :) And if it helps you feel better at all, the hubby flipped a table cloth over a lit candle and if it wasn't for my "gut feeling" things would have gotten ugly.

Scary!!! Good thing you were still in the room and noticed it. And you did a wonderful job repairing it.

Whew, good job on reacting quickly. Would like to see it when finished, and I like the black fabric too.
