Default A vintage Double Wedding Ring (DWR) for a friend -- quilted by Dee

I just got this quilt off the machine. My BFF found this top at an estate sale over 20 yrs ago -----for (drum roll)... $.25 --- that's 25 CENTS!!!! It was hand pieced......and had a LOT of issues. I was able to finally get it to lay flat, though I think it has a record number of "pleats" to get it to lay flat. I'll be tacking those down and binding it in the future. It's about 80 x 90" or so. I LOVED doing this -- the fabrics were beautiful! Oh -- this is all freehand.....no computer .....

Beautiful quilt and you did a great job finishing this. To think she paid a quarter for it. Your friend is going to love it.

I love this quilt and am so glad it found a deserving home. How sad that all that work was sold for 25 cents.

A lot of hours and dedication went into this top -- and your caring takes it to the next level....may you slept well under this for years to come.
