I have sewn the strips together for the quilt I am finishing for my Sister --who was making it for her daughter--when she started with dementia.
It has been a nightmare to put together and I am not happy with it at all.
I don't suppose her daughter (my neice) will even see what I can see as she doesnt even sew. I am so disppointed.

Seams not matching

It is a beautiful quilt.

You could always put buttons or a small applique on it.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Remember life isn't perfect and nothing else should be either.

I think it's very pretty! But I do understand how you feel if YOU don't like it....What are you considering for border?

Pojo---thank you for your kind comment

I was thinking of framing it with the dark blue, then a broad cream border--was going to put piano keys on but I asked on here previously and the opinion was to put the blue then cream border

You are being much to harsh on yourself. When you pictured the whole quilt I can't even pick out the places where the points don't match and once it is quilted it will be even less noticable. This quilt is and will be lovely when it is done.

it took me a little while to find what you were dissapointed in, the quilt looks great apart from that can't you undo that section and redo it, I know it is a pain but you would be much happier with the end result. just remember only God is perfect so we can make mistakes.
I still love it so well done and thanks for sharing

It is beautiful and once it is all together I bet that you will be the only one to see the odd point cut off or seam not lined up. Don't stop now on this wonderful quilt.

I think it is very pretty still.

It took me sometime to see that little mistake.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Life is too short to worry.

I think it is a beautiful quilt, and your sister will be so pleased that you finished it for her, and her daughter will have a lovely quilt to remember you and her Mum with. But since you asked for them here are some ((((((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))) to keep you going.
