To me the blue looks wishy-washy. I like the lavender.

I am agreeing with these smart ladies - Blue or even tan, but not lavender.

Okay, I have looked and looked. Can I suggest another choice? How about a medium tone green just a bit darker than the green in the background on the right. Or perhaps a deeper blue. I'm sorry to be so out of step with the rest of the world.

you are not alone.:) I was just sitting here and try to figure out if that was a green in the right background fabric.
