You could go with any color in the quilt. I would use something plain, like a marble or solid to offset the busy prints. I like to lay out a few and audition them before I decide. Some are just ok, some will make the center pop.

Very pretty! I would audition teal, coral, or green.

White on white is my suggestion.

The fabric that forms the foundation of the church doesn't seem to appear anywhere else. That's the one I'd use because then it would contrast with every colour in the outside edge blocks and it would also stand out if you put it on a light-colored wall. Nice wallhanging - it almost makes me wish there was some snow outside ... almost ... lol

I would use the darkest color that is in the snowflake fabric which looks like navy and use plain color.

I like the blue behind the church or cream.

Do you plan on adding a wide border as well as the 1st narrow border? If so ... what color is the wide border? You'll need to audition them with each other.

If your just planning on one border ... I like the solid color that you have it laid on, but I would audition others as well. Stick to a solid, or something that reads as a solid.
