First off, thanks to anyone who helps me decide on this project.

I am making a 10 minute block for my granddaughter's graduation in 2012, so I have lots of time. I had thought that I would just do the block, but then recently I saw where someone had added more "windows" between the original windows.

So, I am posting a picture with some of the blocks, and one extra window inserted. I would like to do the extra, but am thinking about how much time it is going to take. Which I do have. The question is does it look ok without the extra window?

Thanks again to anyone who helps me to decide.

One extra window, which I will not add color to, just leave the cream color.

I like it best without the extra window.

I agree with Jo M. These are very nice fabric's and I think the extra window just doesn't fit. it seems to throw things off. JMHO!! :-)

I like it without the extra block too.

Beautiful colors you have there. Can't wait to see it completed.

Is there more than 1 pattern for -- 10 minute Block? I never heard of the pattern until a posting on QB Tinker

I love the response so far, all for leaving it out, and none for putting it in. Looking back at the picture, the purple shades really show up better without the extra window. And I can get going on the other 3 quilts I have to get done.
And yes, I will post the final picture, which could be about a month or so.
Taking a break in 2 weeks to have my 13 year old granddaughter here to sew her quilt up. I will post that one when we finish. It is purple and lime green. WOW colors.

you could put the extras in every so often, sprinkle them around the quilt.
