Default "Froggy" quilt

My nephew and his wife are having their first baby. They did not want to know ahead of time whether it was going to be a boy or a girl. I looked on line to see what gifts they had registered for to maybe get an idea for a quilt . There were no big or outstanding hints BUT I did notice that the potty seat they wanted was made into the shape of a green frog. BINGO!! I went out to look for fabric and this is what I found. The center is just a portion of the yardage. The rest was made from my stash. This is one of the few non-art quilts I have made but I did enjoy working on it.
The baby shower was out of town and I didn't go to it but I did mail off the quilt. From the "thank you" note I received, I would say they were pleased with it.

Rosie, That is precious! I would love to have a baby coming for someone so I could make one of those. It is so sweet!

If this is a "non-art" quilt...... I guess I'm going to have to search out your posts and see what else you've been up to! This is a perfect baby quilt! And some of us might consider it very "arty".
