Another helper in the sewing room!

Has anyone caught a kitty in your sewing? accidentally hurt them?

My kitty jumps up sometimes when I'm cutting ... I always tell her she's gonna get her tail cut off!!

I have found both of mine make pretty good fabric weights...until something moves and then the game is on.

My daughter's cat thought he needed to keep me company last night while I tried to sew. I ended up just stopping until he decided to move. He fell asleep with his head against my machine.

My other daughter's cat just helps himself to whatever space he can find to lay down. Usually it's what I'm currently working on!

hehehehe, yes it is like that with me. He finds a place and
takes over! Oh and when the thread moves, he attacks it!

"Zipster" occasionally flossed his teeth with the thread, he used to chase the needle as it went up and down( but i guess he grew tired of getting his paws slapped), but his worst sewing misshap, was when tried to cuddle up with the iron ( he was ok,,,,, and his whiskers have grown back already) He lets me know when he wants " his heat " lamp on, and has the fabric weighted down pat!!! smile

Mine is good at letting me know when I have been sewing for too long lol. He will come in, stand next to my chair and squawk his part-Siamese squawk at me until I stop. I think he is in cahoots with my husband.

So cute! When we had pets we would most of the time accommodate their sleeping arrangements. Spoiled? Nah!
