One of my dearest friends lost her husband over a year ago. She wanted to make a quilt from his shirts. Not being a quilter she turned to her sister in law who is a expert quilter of over 30 years. She told her she couldn't make that quilt pattern and neither could my friend. My friend turned to me knowing that I had been quilting for around 8 years. And heres what we have accomplished. She bought this pattern at a LQS, something I'd never seen until she showed it to me. And I'll be darned if I'm gonna let somebody say theres no way! So heres our progress. We get together about once a week. This is her first and probably her last quilt, so she says. But we have such a good time when we're together, I hope she catches the bug!

I told her to give me a big cheesy grin, after seeing the pic she said dont you dare put that on that quilting thing on line! How could I resist!

She picked out light blue sashing, I'll be quilting it when top is fininshed.
