Oh, Miss Melissa, you done good, girl!!!! I love your arrangement and the filler strips are great. I am having a hard time deciding which block I like the best. The "fresh eggs" on the egg fabric is too cute. But the rooster in the upper right corner greeting the morning sun is wonderful, too. I just love 'em all!!! Great job.

I am on the fence about the brick border too---not sure if I am going to like it. I would have to lay some of it out and "audition" it. Keep me posted what you decide to do--remember I have more chicky fabric if you need it.

Oh how cute! I love roosters and chickens too.

I saw the chicken wire fabric at hancock fabrics. As a matter of fact I used it along with some dancing chicken fabric to make towels and potholders for my next door neighbor and my best friend. They both have chickens in thier kitchens. It is black with white wire all across it.

Thanks everyone!!!!
I do like the chicken wire idea, there are probably 10 different fabrics with chicken wire in the quilt but of course I only have bits of them left. I was hoping to not have to buy more fabric fort his. but thats probably what I will end up doing because I think the bricks would just be too much!!! Sure would have been nice to use up those little pieces though!!!! :D i will keep studying on it see if I can come up with any other ideas!
