Your quilt is stunning-it reminds me of tiny mosiac tiles. I am glad you listened to your intuition-it really knows it's stuff!!

Beautiful work! I'm a hexagon fan and a HUGE Meerkat Manor fan. So great to see your quilt pix---can't wait to see more.
By the way, do you have advice for putting the blocks together?

Yours is every bit as beautiful. Looks like out minds work the same.
to answer your question I used freezer paper for the hexagons.j
Everyone else, thanks and I am not qualified to give anyone advise. This was only my second quilt and I will not suffer the process again.

That is a great quilt. I started doing mine while watching T.V. too. It ended up being a queen size top. Can I ask you how you finished off the edges? And did you hand quilt the top too?

Picked up a bag of cut out hexagons at our quilt guild last month and now I'm hooked on hand~sewing them together ~ have done about 50 !!! Looking for the right black and white or dark green to use for the background~ shhhhhhhh ............. I'm listening to my hexagons discussion on how THEY want to be put together !! Thanks !!

I love what you did with the grandmother's flower garden pattern. I love the unique background and love what you did with the border. And you took alot of time fussy-cutting. Really great job. Thanks so much for sharing that.
