Default Hidden Wells quilt for DD maybe?

I have just finished this Hidden Wells quilt, which was going to be a Christmas gift for DD and her BF, but I now have a tiny problem. The quilt looks too good in my bedroom as it matches the walls and the curtains perfectly. With 3 weeks till Christmas I have started a Bargello quilt and am sewing like mad to get it finished in time. Maybe I will give them an iou!

I have told DD and she just laughed, thank goodness we are close and she saw the funny side of it.

I can see why you want to keep it! I really like that pattern, and you did a lovely job. Where did you get the pattern? ( If you don't mind my asking.)

You did a lovely job with this one. Of course it goes with what you have in your room. You chose the colors there and on the quilt to be things YOU like. It sounds like your daughter will enjoy a different quilt, IOU'd for now.

nancia I have had this pattern for almost 20 years, this is the fifth Hidden Wells quilt I have made. Thank you btiny36 for the link for the tutorial.

That is funny. You can get the Bargello done. Just don't lay it out in your bedroom again. You may fall in love with that one too. LOL
