Highest Honor awarded

Our oldest grand daughter, who recently turned 12, was asked by her virtual language arts teacher to write a few sentences about her fondest memory of her winter break. This is what she wrote along with a picture of the quilt she received. My heart sings!

I bet the teacher had tears in her eyes when she read those words. You have a lovely thoughtful granddaughter. The quilt is beautiful.

That is beautiful: your granddaughter and your quilt, and the thought and love that went into both of them! She is one exceptional kid, and you are an exceptional grandmother and quilter. Seeing both was a wonderful way to wake up.
