I went Garage saleing yesterday with DDIL while I was in Ohio and hit the mother load of all time. They had hundreds of sample books of fabric, I could only bring a couple home with me, will get the rest next month I got about 20 books. And the best part is they were free!! The lady had an interior designing shop and these were the discontinued samples. Lots of types of fabrics. I also picked out several from my Granddaughter. They will make great Bow tucks bags in a patchwork style!! I am in 7th heaven!!

I used to work for an interior design firm. You can make simple throw quilts from most of those fabrics, and wash them. I make quilts out of home dec samples for my den, because they can be washed a million times and the dogs can't destroy them. I trim all the ones I want to a uniform size and line 'em up.

Great find!

I keep looking through them and see so many possibilities. Yes, most of them are 100 % cotton and the young boy about 12 was quite a salesman telling me I could make bags, pillows, quilts, toys etc. It was a fun garage sale. I got some with cool textures for baby things.
