Default FWPQC Lap Quilt

Remember the BOW this group did? I dropped out because........but I just put together 30 blocks and thought I would share for anyone interested. This is only the top.....working on the backing using left over Western prints.

Hi WendiQ ... we missed you over on the PC trails!
You have lovely Miniature Pony and am glad you have shown us how it turned out.
Love the reds with it. It'll make for a FUN lap quilt for yourself ... or a child's quilt that they'll love!

BrendaK....BOW means "block of the week" and it was the "Farmer's Wives Pony Quilt Club". Those of us that decided to do this bought the book so as to follow the stories and attached blocks and shared with the other's that did this each week. It was a lot of fun...

QuiltE...Glad you saw this.....You were a very active participant. I always enjoyed your comments and blocks. What are you doing with your blocks? I put together a bunch of leftover pieces for the backing yesterday......It will be a fun quilt for a younger child.......just don't have one in mind at this point....LOL! I'll probably put it away till one comes along......

WendiQ ... my Pony slowed down because I had a heavy work schedule. I've decided now that I will not do the full size as per the pattern, and will have a Miniature Pony! I have about 40 blocks done now and will do a few more. I'm hoping to sit down this weekend and determine what finished size I want, and know how many blocks I need! Then hopefully I can get to work and trot on down to the finish line!

Oh don't put it away ......... be a kid yourself, and have fun with it!
