Taught myself to paper piece not long ago and once I got the hang of how the fabric goes, I liked it. I was inspired because I purchased the book "50 Fabulous Paper-Pieced Stars" by Carol Doak and fell in love with one called Ohio Star. A total of 72 peices in each star. I never thought I'd get done. We found an arrow to put it on since it has a southwest feel to it and it looks great as a wall hanging.

very nice. I have the same book and didn't have the patience to do this with so many pieces. I wish they were less pieces per star.

That is very pretty. I have that book but haven't made anything from it.

It is gorgeous. The red and white make such a great contrast. I love the arrow. What a cool idea.
