Default All those geese have landed - at the Cabin!

I have shared these geese in a couple of posts and my recent tutorial. Y'all wanted to know how the finished top came out. Well here it is! There are a couple of flights of geese pointing in the wrong direction - you can search for them if you'd like - but they are staying put! I am very happy with how it turned out - mistakes and all. This is for my sister's 50th birthday this summer, so I have plenty of time to handquilt it. There are 49 square in a square cornerstones and the 50th will be incorporated into my signature block. There are 336 geese - one for everyday of the year and, of course, the leap geese. She and her partner live in a beautiful Log Cabin so I thought this would be very appropriate. 57" square.

The work table is empty. The snow is flying. It's time to work on that jigsaw puzzle my daughter gave me for Christmas!
