It's really cute as is! Any girl baby would love being wrapped in that quilt. And I bet she will drag it around for years and years! I love the rick rack idea, but it's sweet as it is! What cute fabrics! And perfect for dog loving folk!

I think your quilt is great as it is.


I CAN tell you what my sister did in a like situation. She put lace all around the outside, leaving the lace loose to act as a frill.

I sometimes have used eyelit lace or a ruffle if I want it to be more girlie.

I really think it's cute as is. However, you could add some cotton eyelet lace in the binding.

I think it's just perfect how it is....maybe some red rick rack, but that's about all. Very cute design...they will really love it.
