Friends made that quilt for the DH and I when we got married. All I know is that it was a Tulip block (my fave flower) and they did it in Batiks because I love them so. The bed is a king and the quilt was a queen so we put it behind the bed to show it off.
I did make the quilt at the end of the bed.
BTW, colors of the bedroom were chosen because I liked them and had nothing to do with the quilt. Then we brought that quilt into the room and were amazed!
It was just meant to be is what we decided.

I posted a note about the one behind the bed. The one over the railing in the entryway was a mystery that I did at a retreat several years ago. It was named something like "The Stars Behind the Moon" or something. All I know is that the stars are friendship stars and we all fussed so because the directions were a bit hinky, probably because it was a mystery pattern. I decided that it was too goofy a pattern to ever attemp to make again! LOL

Do you remember the names of those patterns?

Really nice! I especially like the one in your powder room, and the whole master bedroom- what a great color on the bedroom wall and it all goes together so nicely!
