This scrappy 9 patch is companion to a scrappy pinwheel that is done. I will show a picture of the FMQ on the pinwheel.

I just finished ironing the 9 patch and backing and am getting ready to do the Sharon Schamber method of basting. This was put together several years ago and has some pretty bad corners.

Would an allover design like loupdeloup or hearts help camo the bad corners more than doing something in each 9 patch? Or would you prefer something in individual 9 patch blocks since they are so scrappy?

Can't wait to hear what you think :-)

I would go with an overall quilting design.

I agree with overall quilting. I love the scrappy quilts.

Overall quilting would be better to help with the bad corners..you can kind of work them out as you go....If you do a planned design sometimes it may not work out if the piecing is off in any way. Just my opinion of course.

I think all-over would be my choice, too

I also think all-over. Is everyone thinking about FMG?

I would like an allover design. I can't see any mistakes but I don't think a design would show up as well. It's very pretty.
