Lightbulb How should I quilt this?...all ideas appreciated

I am making this quilt for a wedding gift and need ideas for quilting it on a domestic sewing machine. I know how to do some free motion quilting ...need to keep it simple since it needs to be done in less than a month. If you have seen this same quilt finished elsewhere, please direct me to view it. Thanks so much.

I think the first thing I would do would be SITD between the the star centers. That would stabilize the whole quilt with a large grid pattern. I would then do feathered wreaths in each of the large white squares. The top looks beautiful!

I agree 100% with tartan, that is the way to go. If you don't feel comfortable enough to do feather wreaths a "pumpkin seed" flower would also look nice in those squares. It is easy to quilt it is 4 arcs and the bow of all the arcs meet in the middle. So an arc would take up one half of the square. When they are all quilted it forms 4 pumpkin seeds that meet in the middle.

What a pretty quilt you have made!

As suggested, SITD around the stars for your first step.
Then ... Being that it's a wedding gift ... in the white space, how about a heart?
Outline it and leave as is, or do echo quilting ... or outline and stipple outside the star.

Do you know the pattern name for the quilt? It is really nice. Love scrappy quilts.

Another scrappy for me to drool over! Love it! I've seen this pattern before but don't know the name.
