Default Grandmother's Quilt binding irregular shape solved

For color reasons, I have purchased the prefolded quilt binding.. Preferring to make my own, but color was difficult to match.. oddly enough.

I cut the prefolded quilt binding in half. ironed flat, ironed in half and folded toward the center fold seam. 3/8 inch finished binding dimension.

The narrow binding is easy to accept the hills and valleys of this quilt pattern . Photos do not show completed quilt but the details of the narrow binding and all hand sewed.

This works !

Just sharing !

Best Regards,
Ell

Beautiful quilt. Great match. I use packaged binding fairly often because of time constraints with making bias binding. However, I often use the extra wide double fold rather than the actual quilt binding-it is narrower than the quilt binding and seems to go around curves and corners better for me.
