A customer brought this quilt top to me yesterday for quilting and said to do whatever I felt was right with it. I think I'll do a med size meander in the background, put bear paws in the cornerstones, wavy line through the blue sashing, SID the border and around the bear but cannot decide what to quilt inside the bear itself. Any ideas?

I'm going to use tone on tone dark/med/light brown thread.

If I were doing it, I think I would do cross-hatching in the white background, and use the medium meander inside the teddy bear. Especially if the thread matches well. I would want the teddy to pop up more than the background does, and I think the cross-hatching would be easy to do on those little squares....

I think I would do med swirls in the bear - would make it look like fur.

I would try something curly to give the impression of curly hair. Maybe something like this:

I like that idea, I think the second one is best, curly but not so swirley. LOL
