Default Hubby's Christmas gift

Hubby is at stage 4 chronic kidney disease and is tired all the time. He goes to bed around 6 or 7, which is way too early for me to go to bed. Because I'm not there, he holds my small blanket and when I go to bed, I have to pull to get it back (I can't sleep without holding it). So for Christmas I made him his own "woobie". It is the perfect size for holding while sleeping. Since I'm not buying any fabric and just using what I have, this quilt is made with two different Air Force materials (hubby was Air Force when we married) and a patriotic material. The backing is the Air Force symbol material. It just needs binding and it's done (I really don't like doing binding).

Thanks for looking!!!!!

I'm sure he will like it .... so very blue and comforting. Don't you wish there was a binding fairy that would visit our homes at night?

Prayers to you and your husband. I have a good friend who is also in stage 4 kidney disease so I understand what it is like. I'm sure he'll love the quilt, just knowing it is an act of love from you.

Thank you ladies!

Marilynsue - Thank you for the prayers. Doctors are surprised with how bad he is, he is only 34 years old.

I'll be praying for him! No transplant options? Great Woobie! Do u wear cologne or lotion? Rub a little on his quilt!
He holds your Woobie cause it's yours! Make his smell a little like you!!
God bless and merry Christmas!

It's a beautiful quilt. I'm sure it will give him comfort. My prayers are with you and your hubby. May your holiday be blessed and wishing you all the best to look forward to in 2012.
