LOL.

It's still a beautiful block no matter what you decide to do with it.

Ohhhhh.... I love the Hunters Star, and the colours you've used are awesome. It would make such a beautiful quilt! ;-)

Jeepers--it's so neat looking--was it painful? If so, a hot pad would be lovely. :D

Your block is lovely. To pretty to be put aside. It looks hard. Hot pad sounds like a good choice.

Lol barnbum.
Great block. Haven't seen that one I di=on't think. Why not make a few more for practice (not that yours don't look good because they do), but by then you may grow to like the block and voila you have a lap quilt.
Give to a neighbor or ???

It's beautiful. The colors are fantastic. Maybe, over a period of time, you could try another, then another........ Sometimes the blocks get easier as you go. If not, then please don't turn it into a hot pad. Put a border on it and make a small wallhanging for all to see and admire - and they will!

That's a pretty spectacular block! I could see it as a pillow, but it really would make an awesome quilt.

Hunter's Star is one of my favorite blocks. I paper piece, that's the easiest for me.

Put a 1 1/2" solid border around and a 3 or 3 1/2" print border next and a solid binding. Your block will be a beautiful 24-25" wall hanging. Single pieced blocks framed with borders also make nice Christmas gifts.
