Love the Hunter's Star! It's more about the kids.

Beautiful HS quilt and you did a really great job on the quilting too. I love all the blues in this with the white stars.

This is what "loving your children more than you hate your ex husband" is all about. (Quote from Oprah Winfrey) I really love this and applaud your love and kindness towards your children's love for their father. You are an exceptional person. God bless.

The quilt is absolutely beautiful. It sounds like you have a "good divorce". My husband has one of those and you know who wins? Everybody!!! His ex made us a beautiful crewel work wallhanging when we were married 38 years ago. It was appreciated by both of us, as your quilt will be by your ex-husband.

Good for you and your family - nothing like an example - always remembered more than words. Plus it's a great quilt!

Regardless of the fact that the two of you are no longer together, you will always have the kids in common. Doing this shows your children that FAMILY is more important than conflicts.
And you did a wonderful job, the piecing is gorgeous and so is the quilting - and you obviously did your best work, regardless of the fact that he's the "ex".
Beautiful work - and even more beautiful heart!!
