I went to the thrift shop yesterday and bought a little over 5 yds. of this. I figure it might make a nice backing as it is 52 inches wide.
What do you all think? Is it ugly? Couldn't get a really good pic of it, I don't think my camera liked it.

Butterfly wings are a good idea.

I think taken in small pieces it will add some shine to your quilts.

Like I said I don't think my camera liked it. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get a descent picture.

Try appliques with it..or maybe use it as smaller pieces in your quilt with others you do like.. You have tons of options.. Go for it... Reach for the stars.. No fabric is ever wasted fabric in my book.... They all find a purpose sooner or later..

Looks like a great blender to me. Good background for brights; bet you think of dozens of uses. Great score!

I kinda like it too. With the right fabric, it would go good and for the price, you gotta use it. That's a good deal.
