Go Boston1954! I, too, have wanted to do flying geese and though I know about the half-square triangle method, I have not tried it yet. You have become an inspiration...your fabrics are lovely.

Flying geese are always attractive in a quilt. Your block looks wonderful. Love your fabrics.

I am so very happy!
looks great ... no wonder you are happy. I am anxious to see the finished quilt. Which I know will be soon, since you are a Speed Demon when it comes to pumping out quilts

I always wondered why we had to waste fabric to make flying geese. Now I know I don't have to. Thanks for sharing.

Those flying geese are sure pretty and your fabrics are beautiful. Glad you tried something new and how exciting for you. I use Eleanor Burns rulers to make flying geese and they turn out perfect every time. I just love Flying geese and so glad you have found a new pattern to make.

This is how I always do flying geese. I use the 8 at a time HST method unless I need it to be more scrappy.
