You know, that red paisley could be used in a similar fashion (I love that "ugly fabric" of yours) lol. Of course you can do this. No surprise here! Nicely executed - bet the hubs will be excited.

Thank you. If I had any of that paisley print left I would give it to you but Norbana got it all. There wasn't a whole lot of it, maybe half a yard.

Funny how something you lay your blocks on can become sashing color for a quilt. I haven't decided yet what color to use but the brown is a possiblity.

Thank You everyone for your kind comments. I can't wait to finish this one. I just got a walking foot from Lucinda and I can't wait to try it. I have already got 3 quilts lined up to quilt, this is num 4.
