Sometimes bad weather makes you get some projects finished. We were fairly lucky with minor damage from the storm.

I made the same use of my time waiting out Irene today. I only finished a wall hanging. I had to sew the binding, iron and sew it onto the quilt before I could hand bind it. Thank goodness we didnt loose power :)

I'm so glad your all doing so good. At least your using your time wisely. Lol. not alot can be done when power is out. That's why I bought a treadle machine. Hope to have it all done with the refinishing soon.Oh yeah and your quilt and runner is beautiful. Mary
