Sometimes bad weather makes you get some projects finished. We were fairly lucky with minor damage from the storm.

I made the same use of my time waiting out Irene today. I only finished a wall hanging. I had to sew the binding, iron and sew it onto the quilt before I could hand bind it. Thank goodness we didnt loose power :)

I'm so glad your all doing so good. At least your using your time wisely. Lol. not alot can be done when power is out. That's why I bought a treadle machine. Hope to have it all done with the refinishing soon.Oh yeah and your quilt and runner is beautiful. Mary

Very pretty! And I find doing binding relaxing. So that would have been something I would have done while trying to ride out a storm.lol

Love your projects! If only we could get a deluge here... our lake is very low and it is our only water source. I am happy that you made it through! Would like to hear from others. Let us know how you are faring!
