Aunt Helen died before my DH and I got married. In fact she willed my husband her old Buick which he then sold to buy my engagement ring. I knew Aunt Helen was a quilter, as an engagment present my MIL gave us one of her beautiful quilts, that was over 25 years ago. Since then my MIL died and while going threw her things a chest of quilts appeared. Yesterday we divided them among the family. Here are the ones we got....but better yet no one wanted the odd pieces and unsewn tops, so I ended up with a few....

Various blocks in various stages. I WILL have fun!

Items are machine pieced -ther green fabric in the background is from her stash - SCORE!

You have some wonderful quilts and blocks there! Bet you are proud to have them. Old quilts are so special. You know someone went to alot of work to make them.
