Looks like mosaics, did you get the pattern from a book? How did you pick out the fabrics-- what was your crtieria?

That quilt is magnificent! I have that same fabric in oranges, golds and greens. I couldn't get myself to cut it up in small pieces so I made a bunch of placemats with it. I should try to find more and do the four patch OBW technique. Yours is sooooooooo good.

No, I saw one done that was similar and just changed the sashing a bit. I am one of those people who buy fabric because some day I know I will find just the pattern for it. I had this fabric in my stash for some time and it just begged to be in this quilt.
