    My 8 yr old got to pick out the fabrics for her purse. I only used one layer of batting in it(ran out of pellon on the first one that I messed up) and I still need to put the button on after I find my stash of them.

    She picked some great colors... Good job.. I have not mad one yet, and I have had the pattern since they came out.. ha Anyway.. it looks great.. and your daughter has good taste in fabrics.. :)

    You should try it. I was very intimidated by the pattern and it really wasn't that hard. I messed up on my first one but I wan't really reading it that well and the kids were having a bad moment and I was distracted. Now I want to make some more.
