LOL That makes two of us!!

I am really surprised that I was able to get it all out of my stash. Since I am just in the beginning stages of quilting I have not had the time to build a stash like the ones that you guys have floating around. Some of you have a complete Hancock Fabrics in your sewing rooms!

But I suppose it is just like anything else it takes time to build one up.

I did however slip back out to the studio and finished the quilt up, now all thats left is to wash it and take photos of it. And I think on this one since its a gift and it is going several states away to my Grand Nephew (damn I am getting old) I want to do a label for it. What do you all recommend for doing that.

I have embroidery floss and the cloth that you use for counted cross stitch would that be sufficient to do the job?

Help the brother out I am on another round of meds LOL!!

Horray! You got to sew again, feels good, huh? I go into withdrawals if I can't sew for a few days.

Looks great!

Recognized the pattern right off & your nephew is going to love it. Don't you feel warm inside when you make a child smile?

Thank you for the complements, its not as precise as I like them to be but it worked out fairly good. Now I have to make one for my Grand Niece that was born a couple of weeks ago.

But this time I going to use a different pattern and its has to have Purple, Pink, and Yellow in it. So after all of this ice we have melts away I will run and get the material for the quilt for her.

That is absolutely beautiful. It is bright and I like the colors. I can't wait to see the one for your Grand Niece.
Think you're getting old? I have been a Great Gramma for over two years, now that's old. Glad to be old though, beats the alternative.
