I have started designing a window hanging rag flag quilt. This is what I have of the front of it so far. Right now it's 5 across and 8 down. Yes my Window is a tall one from almost to top of ceiling down to almost the floor.
I may have to add more down and perhaps up to 2 more rows across.
I'm thinking of adding an edge all around of red/white/blue stripes. I have the Studio die and fabric to do so.
I'm still working on placing the back patriotic pieces but for some reason I can't seem to put them to be a good mix. I may have to find yet another patriotic theme to break it up
some.
This is a work in progress that isn't going to be finished anytime soon.
I definitely need to get me a larger design wall and another place to put it. Hard to take photo's where it is now.

UPDATE.......
I have started designing a window hanging rag flag quilt. This is what I have of the front of it so far. Right now it's 5 across and 8 down.
FINALLY! I was able to make sense of the back of it. First go round it just looked out of place so I removed it all and did a different placement of blocks which looks alot better and more evenely distributed in colors.
If I didn't have to get 4 rag quilts ready for grandkids for Christmas and 3 for adults I'd start sewing this one together but it will have to wait. All of them have put there order in for a Christmas gift which suits me just fine since I'm getting really good at making these and now that I have the larger 10 X 12 Studio rag die it will go much quicker since I won't have to cut as many blocks for each one of them.
Once I get those done though I will sew this window flag one.
