Hey CAJUN....thanks for the encouragement. I do hope that the guy doll will bring him happiness. I know he surely deserves joy and love in his life. I know he gets it from family, and I hope he will share it with the doll in the future.

Thanks again.

well, gosh and gee everyone....I sent the little guy above off in the mail, and couldn't stand it till I made another guy doll to join the girls. I charged ahead and made him from a sweater I bought at a thrift store this afternoon....too much of a price at $3.50, but couldn't resist those bright colors, so here he is below.

Come next Monday (IF I GET ANOTHER GIRL DONE over the weekend) I will have 5 girls and a boy to deliver to the ACS. Right now I am worn to a frazzle, so will clean up my mess. It is a good thing that the dolls were sewn and stuffed, and that the boys are so much faster to make than the girls, or I'd not have gotten them both done. God is good! He got me through two dolls in two days. Now I'm gonna rest a couple days.

I hope you all enjoy the boy. His skin tone is a medium tone.

For whom ever is following this topic, I am posting dolls Number 23 and 24 of the total I have made so far. I am going to take a week or two break, as I've been 'pushing the button' on all the sewing and need to do a few other things for a little while before I pick it up again. I hope you will like the dolls. I'm posting both versions, dress up and gown for each. I am trying to represent all different cultures or races, so there are choices, if choices are wanted.

Hugs to you and yours and God bless All.

Adorable, Vickey!! Enjoy your break from sewing and relax a bit. Sometimes we have to switch our focus in order to come back refreshed and ready to go again with new ideas.
