oh bless you. i had the main artery in my body replaced with dacron in july of 2008. from my heart to my femoral arties in the groin area - that was NOT FUN either. the older we get the more that wears out i guess.
my surgery was called "aorto bifemoral bypass". don't ever do it.

Dojo36, your surgery was very extensive. Do they know what caused it?

my arteries between the navel and groin were blocked with cholesteral just like heart arteries get to be, i was in danger of losing my right leg. all the side effects and complications were nearly as bad as the surgery. i didn't get my last drain tube out till last November. like a bad horror movie.

That's another beautiful quilt you made.
I've never labeled my quilts but I should start and yours is a perfect label to start with. Thanks for sharing that how to.
