Thank you, bepositive!! Love that name! Yes, my tip is to avoid real dark colors like browns and blacks for the flowers and you'll have a vibrant looking quilt!

Another great pattern and so cool in scrappy. Thank you for doing this for our soldiers. Have you posted a picture of your avatar anywhere? I'd like to see more of it.

Your very welcome! Yes, irishrose, you can read about the mini in my avatar at this link:

Just scroll half-way down the page and you'll see 'Charm Mini No. 1.' You can also read about it in the first paragraph at the top of this page. The pattern also follows on that thread. Just flip through the pages and you'll see the pattern. Both the minis, #1 and #2, were made with the same pattern. It looks different on point though. I think the pattern is on page 3. You'll see it. It's called Crossed Canoes. Thanks for your interest! Hope you'll make it one day and post pics for all of us to enjoy!
